Profile
Thank you for your interest in our farm. It is located in open Pennsylvania country away from any industrial activity and is on high ground offering a grand view of the countryside. Our cows have names not numbers. They are primarily grass fed and graze up to 16 hours each day depending on weather conditions. Most of the supplemental feed is grown on the farm where it is fertilized organically by returning liquefied manure to the soil. Calves are fed their mother’s milk. Social contact within the herd is significant.
All of this concern and caring for the animals is actually in everyone’s best interest as we recognize that a contented herd will be one that will provide abundant, quality milk without resorting to dangerous hormone treatments. We at Erivan are committed to offering you a simple yogurt made simply good,— from the start.
