Renninger’s Farm has been a family established farm since 1932. It began as a dairy farm located in the heart of Royersford. As the transition into a farmer’s market began, Farmer Jay and his wife, Carol, decided to continue owning cows. The cows you see at the farm today are strictly for entertainment.
The store front opens for the season in mid-April. As the season changes from spring to summer to fall, as does our locally-grown produce! The market closes up shop for customers on October 31st.
This does not mean a farmer’s job is over! During the winter season, Jay takes this time to catch up on some work. We still feed for our livestock, clean up the insides and outsides of the greenhouses, and order all the supplies needed for the following season. There is always plenty of work to do on this farm!
